In 2003 I started drawing oranges. My drawings evolved into playful graphic illustrations of oranges in all sorts of situations. From oranges dangling from trees to oranges exploring the final frontiers of space, my digital paintings show every imaginable scenario that could possibly involve oranges. Orange Pulp is a series of over 100 digital paintings of oranges, done mostly in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop. I am getting ready to publish a book of the series this year. I post the first or second drafts of each piece to http://orangepulp.blogspot.com. The final pieces are often much different. Many of the final works are available at The Compound Gallery in Oakland, CA.
